Alliance of Animal Communicators Caring About Animals (AACCA) is a non-profit group formed under Animal Talk Ltd with the intention to make a difference in how we can assist in advancing animal welfare.

It started as a ripple effect from some of my Animal Communication Students during practice sessions and gatherings in Hong Kong and hopes for the group to grow and expand to other parts of the world. Animal Communicators can develop abilities to better empathize with animals, and with this empathy comes an increasing will to help animal welfare to advance. As the first Animal Communicator living and working in Hong Kong to teach Animal Communication, I value this opportunity for a platform to increase the awareness of animal welfare, something in which I have been involved since the 70’s in London England.

Living in Hong Kong for over 30 years, and watching the changes taking place in animal welfare in Hong Kong, I am aware that the time is right to progress further in turning ideas for animal welfare into actions. After teaching for some years, it was evident that the enlightenment of my students was increasing, and, at the same time, they were asking how we can help as Animal Communicators to be effective in animal welfare. They knew that this is one of my passions, and we started to brainstorm as to how we could make a difference in animal welfare. Together with the experiences of doing fund-raising for some animal charities in recent years, we knew that for starters we could be more pro-active in helping animal shelters and wildlife using our Animal Communication skills as well as energy work and healing modalities such as Reiki, Prayers, etc. Members of AACCA are animal lovers, and are moving ahead to get together a group of Animal Communicators by extending our assistance and making our best efforts to help animals in unsatisfactory and unacceptable situations by sharing the Aims and Ethics for Animal Communicators under Animal Talk Ltd.

Our Aims:

  1. To nurture the bond between people and companion animals.
  2. To enlighten people that animals have feelings and emotion comparable to ours.
  3. To promote awareness that an animal is for life (for a puppy or kitten, that will be 15 to 20 years).
  4. To be pro-active and active in animal welfare, and to raise concerns of animal welfare in Hong Kong and throughout the world.
  5. To raise awareness of the plight of wildlife and nature, and of our moral and practical responsibilities towards them.
  6. To increase awareness of cruelty, and to understand that we should endeavor to ensure that we are not a cause of cruelty.
  7. To foster consciousness that we are guardians of this beautiful planet, and that animals are our brothers and sisters.
  8. In doing all these, we hope to an end to abandonment.

Our Ethics:

  1. We work to facilitate understanding between humans and animals, and particularly to help our human clients to understand their companion animals.
  2. We respect our clients’ privacy and confidentiality, and so we communicate with confidentiality.
  3. We do not judge or condemn, but rather help people to progress in understanding animals.
  4. We want people to care about animals, and to understand that animals have feelings and emotions. So we work to spread knowledge and appreciation of this concept and fact.
  5. We help and guide people to understand and value the human-animal bonds and inter-relations, and also to understand that our stress and emotions carry over to animals.
  6. We understand, and we strive to help others understand, that we are part of nature and the world of living beings. So we endeavor to spread the knowledge and commitment to respect animals and the environment, understanding that we are all inter-connected.
  7. We will use our animal communication skills to communicate with non-human animals only. We will not use or attempt to use these skills on human or for other purposes.

** Our Warm Welcome and Blessings with Love to all of you. **

Alliance of Animal Communicators Caring About Animals (AACCA)
